Membership in CPG is offered only to select individuals who provide professional services, have displayed an understanding of and commitment to the organization's philosophy and completed the application process. Each individual is afforded exclusivity in his/her chosen profession or market area, so there is no direct competition between members. This helps to promote CPG's collegial atmosphere.
Professional Services
Our membership is made up of professionals and executives from the Cleveland area. The organization is open only to those who provide professional services. Generally speaking, this means that those who sell a tangible product -- as opposed to a service -- do not qualify for membership. For a sample list of professions,

All members must maintain the highest professional integrity.
Exclusivity
Every member of CPG is granted exclusivity for his/her specific profession. It is important to note that CPG does not give exclusivity within any particular industry (i.e., law, accounting, etc.), but does give exclusive rights within a specific business or practice area (i.e., probate attorney, domestic relations attorney, business valuation accountant, etc.).
If a specific area of business is already represented within CPG, no new member will be admitted in the same area. Additionally, no guests will be allowed to attend a meeting when the guest's presence would infringe upon a member's exclusivity.
Please feel free to contact us if you any questions about this important feature of CPG.
VISIT AS A GUEST
We ask that all individuals who are interested in joining CPG attend a
meeting as a guest. That is the best way to learn about how we do what
we do. It also gives an opportunity to get to know our guests a little
bit before extending an offer of membership.
If you would like to attend a meeting as a guest, please contact us and
tell us about you, what you do and when you would like to attend. We
will review your request and get back to you promptly. If we are able
to invite you to attend a meeting as guest, we will let you know. If we
are not able to invite you, we will let you know why.
If you attend a meeting as a guest, please bring a stack of business
cards to pass out, together with any other hand-outs you might have.
You will be given an opportunity to introduce yourself and get to know
our members.
